We are pleased to invite you to the 1st International Seminar on Land Use and Transformation Systems (Isotrans), which is arranged by PUI BlasTS, University of Jambi. The seminar theme is “Integration of Production, Social and Ecological Functions on the Land Use Sustainable Management.”

Good management is needed to sustain the ecosystem and support life.
This seminar will present speakers from four countries, namely Indonesia, Netherlands, France, Switzerland, and Gottingen, Germany. Dr Forst. Bambang Irawan (Head of PUI BLasTS UNJA), Putu Grhyate Yonata Aksa (Manager of Sustainability Operation and CSR Asian Agri), Ing. Bart W Van Assen (Technical Advisor, Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO); Complaint Panel Quality Panel Member, High Conservation Value (HCV), Network & High Carbon Stock Approach (HCSA), Prof. Dr. Ir. Clara Zemp (Head of Conservation Biology, University of Neuchâtel, Switzerland), Turinah (The French Agricultural Research Centre for International Development (CIRAD, France), and Prof. Carola Paul (Department of Economic and Sustainable Forestry, Faculty of Land Use Planning, Forest Science and Forest Ecology, University of Göttingen, Germany),
We encourage participants to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations so they can contribute to providing views and information from research and also sharing best practices that have been carried out so that land use change can have a greater impact on soil sustainability. Soil sustainability affects productivity, improves the socio-economy of the community, and enriches the biodiversity of flora and fauna.
We look forward to welcoming you to Jambi to provide an engaging and informative seminar experience.
